Helping you Learn to play the game is the key objective of the EThical HAcking by Shivam program! The  EThical HAcking by Shivam model’s foundation is based on visual, auditory and touch (Kinesthetic) learning styles.

When it comes to learning , most adults have a dominant learning style, but no one has just one learning style. Rather, each of us uses bits and pieces of each style to process the information we receive and commit what we learn to our permanent mental knowledge base.  EC-Council has designed the EThical HAcking by Shivam program to include a combination of Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic learning.

VisualtextThe visual style is learning by seeing. Visual Learners gain information from sight. Visual learners respond best to instruction that utilizes illustrations, charts, diagrams, videos, so we have produced classes which present the instructor in an actual classroom setting delivering the modules from our courses the way they would be presented to a live audience. We use a three camera format to give the viewer the sense that they are in the classroom along with other students. A key component of our model is that we frequently take our instructors into the field for demonstrations to drive visual learning to greater heights!

AuditorytextThe Auditory style is learning by hearing. Auditory learners find the highest retention rates from learning experienced in a classroom environment. During a lecture, an auditory learner is able to comprehend, process and retain the information provided. We took this into consideration throughout the production of this program as we  introduce our instructors, new concepts and even what we call technical interludes in a “conversational” environment which presents the instructor in a relaxed environment “discussing” rather than “teaching” complex topics.

KinesthetictextThe Kinesthetic learner will process information best with a hands-on learning model. EC-Council’s iLabs, online cyber range is the final piece of the puzzle needed to round out this learning model and to  give the kinesthetic learner a way to apply the knowledge presented in our IT Security training courses! iLabs is an online “sandbox” which comes pre-installed with all the “tools” presented in our various courses along with a series of virtual machines which will allow you to launch and test exploits in a secure, control environment. The iLabs cyber range is not  a simulation, but rather, iLabs is a live, safe, secure hacking environment.
